Nice ride Saturday. The bald rear scorpion kind of sucked in the snow. We let a GS and 640 Adventure tag along.

Freak'n things have an appetite for rubber, eh? I'm running the stock tire which isn't too aggressive, & I still don't think I got more than ~3k miles out of it. A spirited pace on the wide open stretches in WY pretty much eliminated the remaining tread.

How do you do that? I have 2k miles on the stock scorpions and they look almost new. I have 6k miles on my 1000cc sportbike performance tires with some meat on the back and front worn out (from heavy braking).
