Did an 1,100 mile loop this past weekend, had some good fun riding the lowlands:

A couple Arroyo's:

and a bit of mountain riding:

It was a great weekend of riding all around.

That would be a Crispy Design, mate. He's an Englishman, who does a lot of work for UK KTM factory MX race teams, as well as rally racers etc, so the quality is top notch. Good lad too.

He does some off the shelf jobs, as well as bespoke designs, like mine, and ships worldwide. Crispy has a thread over at: http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...t=sticker+kits, but he's a busy chap and not on here all that much, so you're probably better off dropping him a line via his website http://crispydesigns.co.uk

Cheers,

Michael

Looks like we've been to the same place ...

And a bit further/higher up the same road.

My last trip through Desoto resulted in unpleasant glares from the military and me dropping my 950 in a big hole drowning it out resulting in a trailside carbendectomy

Correction. I checked my records. 4k out of the rear & it is pretty much gone. The front tire isn't far behind it.

Can probably be done in a few hours, problem will be getting it back together if you have not done it previously I would suggest you plan for 2 full days (16 hours).

Half of that should be spent taking MANY pictures and labeling bolts and other parts so assembly will be go smoothly and you can look up placement of parts when you run into trouble.

Some kind of tray to keep things organized really helps, I use a non permanent marker to label each comparment (just take care to not smudge out the writing).

Thanks man,
I am trading my Tiger (pussy) 800 in against a white 990 adventure this weekend and a powder coated orange frame is on the list of things I will be doing
Thanks again for the advice
