Q for cpmodem

I aM about to mount my gramin 276c..why did you mount it on the handlebars instead of on the binicle forward of the dash? Are you experiencing any vibration problems and/or viewing problems having it on the left side instead in front of you?

Rightside, I think I really MUST get over that way soon! Seems like the West coast is the way to go...

Like it so far. Most time in the saddle has been an 8 hour day but that included lots of stops looking at maps. We were wondering around the logging roads north of here.

I use the same GPS on three different bikes and five 4-wheelers, so with the RAM mount I just need a "ball" in each location where I will use the GPS. Saves on buying a bunch of mounts And nope, there are no vibration or viewing problems in the handlebar location. No vibration with the Tourtech "Iso" mount. The photo may be deceptive at that angle, but the GPS is directly IN my field of view, right below the speedo when facing forward. BTW, there is no more room left on my "binicle;" that is where my IMO-Rally computer rides when I'm competing. The roadbook, when the event requires one, goes on the handlebar directly in the middle.

thanks...but please clairify...what "iso" mount are you refering to? I plan on putting the 276 into the marine mount and mounting that to the 'ball" mount on onto the handle barclamp

It's an isolation mount (rubber shock isolation). Here's the one I use:
http://www.touratech-usa.com/shop/search_SKU.lasso?SKU=065-0039&-session=touratechD7908535B1A3C29F1F03D99B26477B4

They have them for the 276:
