No issues. I do have the CF from Adventure Work Shop. I have had two get offs that had some speed to them. one was in a muddy rut, and I stuffed the tank into the mud at 20 mph. (of cource muds soft) The second was probably at 35 mph and I high sided it into the frozen ground as I took flight. I have had a hand full of drops, mainly due to not being able to get my feet to the ground on that GO!!!!!!!!!!!! bike. So, I havent had any thing real bad (as far as crashes go), but the tanks are tough and will handle some abuse.

GS vs. 950, I know you all have seen this before..Geez.

I notice as far as pictures go on the GS page more people show off their GS in an open field or in front of their garage. The KTM images seem to be mostly in the mud/dirt/sand. I have owned both bikes so have no favorite but seems one is better than the other at certain things. I think the GS is a great road bike that can go in the dirt while the KTM is a great dirt bike that is great on the street. Just an opinion.

Please tell me more about Onion Valley Road. We're going to the KTM Adventure Rally at Mammoth in June. I'd sure like to ride through there on the way home. Great photo, BTW.

The road goes up into the canyon to a small picnic area and dead ends. Take W. Market street off of Hwy 395 in downtown Independence. Enjoy.
