New paint job for my 990 adv

Name: Copy of IMG_1539.JPG
Views: 1981
Size: 80.5 KBHI Just had my 06 990 painted by my mate Andy (front cover of StreetFighters June) http://www.andyhosegoodairbrush.co.uk/ . The decals were done by http://www.bikedecals.co.uk/ .I put a high KTM front mud guard with SX 85 fork protectors . A Garmin StreetPilot 2610 on RAM mounts, a G2 throttle ,heated grips and also have the KTM Tank bag,KTM pannier rack and a Hepco Becker plate for the Gobies and the HB aluminum top box to sod up the lines of the bike and to make it shake its head over 85 mph.Any way ,all set for a trip down to Spain for the Catalan Moto GP to cheer on our Bradley Smith on the 125's.

My 950 Adv. in it's dirt set-up. I took this picture, then climbed back on the bike and quickly realized there was a problem. The rear tire was flat and one side of the bead had already broken (non-stock rear rim). It was about 12 miles to home and the second side of the bead broke at about 4 miles. Then things got interesting!

Yep, back on the bench next to the tire irons, tool kit and spare tube!

O.k., so I had the tool kit, not that it was any help.

Here's a short video of CJRacer riding his 950 up wet abondened old road. Th video doesn't do the difficulty of getting up the hill justice, especially since he had a Scorpian rear tire on.
