Nice pic - but that screen! Must be the big version you are testing. Sure hope the smaller one with the vents works. Don't think I'm gunna want a big ole gizmo like that...

Not to worry. It's SOP for CB to provide windscreens in many sizes and tints, w/wo vents etc. The "tall version in this photo is 4.5" taller than stock. It provides excellent protection and greatly reduced noise and buffeting. My son, son-in-law, and I rode it all over the high desert yesterday. This height does not interfere with off road operation in the least.

There are still some "issues" to correct before a 950 line goes into production. I have put over 2500 miles on the v2.00; much of that offroad. I'm still waiting for the v2.10 to get out of the design phase so I can field test it as well.

Well, the deed is done. The R1150GS is heading off to new stables, and I'll be picking up a new 950 Adventure this weekend, Lord willing! Orange, of course

I can sympathize with my moto-brother's plight of not finding any of these jewels on the open market. There's a couple black '04's (used) in Florida as of today...if you need help finding 'em, let me know, and I'll point you in the right direction!

Yep! Changed to my interim avatar, the 625 SXC. Another great bike, BTW. Went by the dealer today to pick up some accessories and admire the brilliant orange metal-flake paint again. Didn't someone say the orange ones were faster anyway?

Yep, that's what they say!! and if you really believe that I have some property East of Miami Beach with a beautiful view of the skyline forsale at a real bargin.

I see your from Aberdeen. I never got over on that side. I spent a bit of time over in the Dunoon area. Also a bit in Edinburgh. I have told my wife if we ever travel outside the US I would like to go back to Scotland. I mean fish and chips and haggis and darts and pints. You guys appreciate life over there.

Oh, on the bike a bit of everything, tent, sleeping bag, thermorest, down pillow, stove, heater, cooking gear, chair, table, spare parts for bike, tools, chain lube, oil, screen porch, clothes, camp shoes, hat, pajamas, rain gear, first aid kit (major), food, gps, cell phone, cb radio, shotguns, bead breaker, tire spoons, spare tubes, etc. just your normal load for going down the yellow brick road.
