Great shot, did that to my foot at about 60kph, saved by good boots but still hurt like absolute buggery!

some answers

thanks for the complements.....it is just the same stuff others have done here, and inspired me to do the same!!!

Couple of questions. What is an NRE? Nevada Rally Experience or something like that? And what is this headlight set-up? Is it HID's stuffed into a stock housing? Did you do the work? And last, what are these racks? I know I have seen them and I could go search the forum, but it's easier just to ask you!

Brent
yes, the NRE is Scot Harden/Casey Folks event in caliente, nv. sadly they have had to put it to rest for the time being. maybe it will live again someday. i will admit to being in over my head at times. one skill i improved on, however, was how to pick up this beatch in a sandy wash

the headlight is my work, but inspired by others here. i promise to show some more pictures, and a description soon.......

the racks are for jesse bags:

the wheels, are excel - rear 18 x 3.5", and front 21 x 1.85".
you are right, there is no 4", or 4.25" rear. the 3.5 does limit your street tire options. there is a pirelli scorpion rear 140/80, that does fit. also the txc80 150/70, and dunlop 908rr 140/80 will fit. one HUGE difference, is that flat repair is WAY easier!!! deep drop centers, smaller safety beads, and no worries about dinging the rims with irons. highly recommended!!!

I haven't been in here much since the orange one was stolen, but now I can come in again without melancholy.

Got an awesome deal on the replacement one too.

With smaller safety beads, would the tire ride off the rim quicker should puncture/deflation happen at speed?
