I thought it looked familiar!
I've paddled under it too!

Maybe the last rally of the year for me. Etelän Pystymettä 2009.

Left one is mine.

Preparing for way back. (not me in the picture)

Next year we really need more Orange drivers to keep those Honda drivers and their millonkilometer service intervals quiet

Few more photos

How does the 990 handle on-road with the 21" front?

The size of the wheel won't really hold you back, the tire you put on it can though.

After a day in the twisties w/ a small group of friends, one of my good riding buddies asked me why I still had the Super Duke if I can fly over twisties on the Adventure.

I'll be honest, it will surprise you even on the stock Scorpion tires.

That said, I did scrape pegs a few times in areas I've never come close to touching down hard parts on the Super Duke.

3 year update

I posted some pics of this bike long ago when I put the rear tanks on. It's been just short of 3 years since I mounted them, so I thought I'd report in that I've had zero issues. Old posts discuss the poor fit of the African Queens tanks and exhaust, but once modified (no easy task) they've been awesome. No issues in 3 years and thousands upon thousands of Baja off-road miles since.
Thought I'd let interested folks know...

Yes, it is. I'm 5'11". It's thier tallest light-smoked shield. Works good enough for me--with ear plugs--I ride mostly with my face shield up.
