That's a Karroo 2, and thats my Nikon catching some rarely seen NW rays of sun thru the trees at the right angle. No wax, all though that could give me another mile an hour

I would like too find some good logging roads that aren't gated off. The only ones I know of are near Greenwater.

Very nice bike mate with some interesting lighting mods too.

I'm not sure about the white rims though

WOW... I bet that 950 can see in the dark!
I like the white... tell us about your lights, please. Now that you can post pics, how about a cockpit view to see your lighting controls, too.
We don't ask for much!

The white is beautiful!

(white rims are a pain in the ass to keep clean... from past experience but they look soooo great when clean )

Did you powder coat or paint the swingarm & rims? How is it holding up (had it offroad yet?)?

I once powdercoated my gsxr1000's frame/swingarm/etc and it seemed every time I rode it more chips appeared in the coating (i got really good with a touchup marker) but that could have been the powder coating company's fault?

I would love to see a "from the cockpit" photo of the back of those top lights

I was pullin' up to Scuderia to pick up a few last bits to mount up this week before a Baja ride and I recognized the bike from this thread. We're both rocking black 950s so we compared notes for a while and dipped into the store talking about all the bikes we're drooling over. Cool to meet a fellow Orange Crusher (duh, at Scuderia!) and ADV'er out there on the streets of San Francisco.

Here's the latest shot of my bike. She now sports a set of Woody's built rims (alas, without the Galfer waves for now - story), Euro headlight, remounted right mirror, a fresh set of tires and brake pads, ready to roll! Our departure seems on regular "one more day" delay status, but I actually think tomorrow is go time to start a 7-9 day ride in Baja! (again)

So you got the bracket? Those wheels looked great.
It was a pleasure meeting you. Have fun on your ride.
