I've lways liked the black ones best- and for some reason I can't fully explain, this is a great picture that shows why.

Chasing then Oh Fuc*

A BMW K1100 zipped past me on my way home from Tim Hortons and I was gassing it up to catch him and then I suddenly noticed the VW braking up ahead. I looked down at my digital speedo to see how fast I was going, and then, then, then, grabbed some Brembo and safely slowed...
Just kidding, PS 8.0

2006 Rider survey is out.

http://www.riderpower.com/

KTM always has a poor representation in these surveys, one year lumped in with the street bike category. I figured you guys would want to correct that.

LOL. Love the speedo. Right now with the soft front suspension anything above 75 should trigger that on my bike...

jsrider - TKC 80

Hard to say chap!

I've only done 25 miles on them!

The side stand trick popped the Scorpion's bead just the job but they were a sod to get off the rim.

The TKC's went on a treat with the help of WD40. The bead seated at about 25psi using a cycle track hand pump. I've pumped them to the Scorpians recomended pressures to start with.

I have limited experience with Knobblies so they felt odd to me any way. It was raining and I only popped a few miles to the nearest fuel station to check the pressures. The mould release agent will still be on them.

I work for a motor racing circuit and we have a gravel car park and perimeter roads and that leads on to a 4x4 course. So I went for a play. I must admit to expecting more from them but in the gloopy, muddy conditions in the UK at the moment the Scorpions would have had me on my arse!

I'm off to Morocco in three weeks so that will be a mix of Tarmac, gravel, stones, and sand. I'll report back but will expect to put a new rear on when I return as we intend to do 4000 miles.

Keep you posted!

Robin

tart,

look at www.ajplastics.com.au the screen is not on the site but they do make them.

Pleasent to deal with, quick enough turn around, and about 70 fitted.
I think they are Aus $120 + shipping and the Aus $ is about 2.2 to the pound. The post office will want some tax.

You can get them in ORANGE!

Alf is a good guy - enquires@ajplastics.com.au
