Scaryfast....sweet bike. That's the very look I'm after (I'm in the market for a 950 Adv).

Got any pics of the front and dash/handlebar area?

Dammit - that picture inspires me to keep my black 04 950... very sweet.

Question - I have never heard of .57 springs for the 950 - is that a typo? Heaviest I have heard of .52

Woweee.

So how does it land? Whats the suspension like?

Cheers - beautiful ride

Thanks a bunch.....I actually had Durelle racing make me a set of .57kg springs out of my stock ones. He cuts them down and makes some aluminum spacers.
There is a big improvement, but I think I need to get it revalved, I'm having a hard time getting the front and back to work together. The front feels very soft while the back feels too stiff. I rode a 950SE and that bike is set-up great....if I can get my front to work like the SE, this bike would be perfect for me!

I don't have the Sirius on the bike right now...just use it for longer trips, I'll try and get it all mounted back on sometime soon and get some pictures shot of the Handlebar area.

Just for all you out there who have not made it down to your local KTM dealer (that means anything withing 200 miles) I just want to inform you that the orange paint is a DEEP metal flake with gold flecks.

Read this 3 times now Scary, surely if you cut down a stock spring, the rate is still the same, it's just shorter?? Are you sure Durelle has not cut down someone else's .57 spring to suit the 950?

That said, if the stock springs are progressive and not linear, and he has cut off the soft part of the spring, then it would change the effective rate.

I'm no suspension expert by any means. Neduro and Durelle did a lot of work on this in the past. Here is the link to Neduro's Thread containing all the information.

Has a lot to do with the coil size and amount, made sense after I read it.....I sent him my stock springs, he cut them down and made a spacer to take up the extra room. The forks are noticably stiffer.

Work in Progress

Cannisterectomy, EPC-ectomy, & SAS-ectomy in progress between diaper changes on my 2 week old son, amusing my 2 year old son, and playing steppin fetchit for my love.

I have Hepco-Becker bars, Touratech r/ master cylinder guard, 16t, and the Euro headlight. I trimmed down the windshield about 4 1/2 inches. Trying to decide on what pipes to get........
