First of all, thanks a lot for all your comments.

This is not a report, but a note on bike autonomy I think can be interesting.

It was a big question mark when we started the dunes crossing of Maqteir and El Hammammi, two Sahara subdeserts, 400 kms of sand and dunes completely isolated that two of us (me and Carlos) have already made in 2004, but with 4x4 support. Now he have more 60 kgs in the bike... Can we do it or not??? Nobody knew but we decided to go!!!!!

And the result was a big surprise. Not even in our best thoughts we imagined we could do it so easily. Perhaps we were lucky, but I was convinced before that going with car support would be much more funny, since you can drive without additional weight, and now I became a completed addicted in bike autonomy. Thanks Carlos and Paulo for not to stop to convince me.

We had only two problems: a fall of the other friend that joined us only the first 200 kms (the beach track) and could not continue, staying in Nouakchott waiting for our return from the desert,

and an interception by Frente Polisario guerrillas that didn't allow us to cross Mauritania north border with Western Sahara, compeling us to make more 2000 kms of tracks to pass the south border (the only one officialy open).
