Oh pretty well, 3rd overall out of 350 entries. Surprised a few people on Singles I think

Chris Hockey (former British Expert Enduro Champion and 7 times ISDE Medal winner - 3 gold) took the overall on a 2012 YZF450 (Trick Bike) and Craig Bounds (Dakar Racer) came 2nd on a 630 Husky. It was a great event for me and the big 950, everything fell into place with no mistakes, all the 690's came in behind me

Craig did well as he only got out of shoulder surgery 8 days before the event

Love this picture, check out the eyes!

Pyndon, great pics and results. Congrats

What tyres have you been running on the 950 for the various rally's?

is there a set you prefer?

what sort of tyre pressures are you running?

D606 Front, Michelin Desert Rear and Michelin BIB Mousses. You cannot ride competitively in these rallies on a big heavy bike with air in the tyres, I found this out the hard way. Too many rocks and square edges to stay committed and not enough time between checks to repair punctures. But, you really need to take care of the mousses, especially on the big bike. Lube them every race and replace them when they are damaged which on the front is quite often .
