a night ride in the desert..

by daylight

soft sandy sections can be exciting on a bald scorpion... especially when you rode it at night and then saw the reality during day...

I will buy the book and let you know!

I'm looking for a trip next summer (Did Portugal/Spain this year), so if it works out, please do let us know as that would be a short hop across the channel, and then off on the trails - sounds great if there really are 1000kms there! And for 30 euro worth the investment.

cheers

Markie

Cold ride

When the snow/rain wet muck is turning into ice on your jacket, you know it's cold out. Just finished my ride getting my bike out of Tahoe for the winter and back to San Francisco. Of course I chose to wait until it was snowing to do so. Photo from about 8,000+ feet.

Long slow ride out of the mountains.
