Today was my first time ever on ice with a bike. Have to say that the traction of studded tires is just U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E! I'm a n00b and thus not that gnarly, but I sure felt like one when doing large eights, power sliding, feet on the pegs and tip of the boots scraping the ice.. The bike just refused to go down. Oh man, not sure if I've ever had that much fun

Sorry, I don't have any friends so no gnarly photos.

Easy, I've seen worse...

Until now everything goes as planned!

It might be deeper than expected...

Is it getting any deeper than this?

Alright I need to change direction now.

Then I don't have anymore pictures as I asked my lovely passenger to walk into the river to find me a path out

Water went very very close from the airbox intake, I'm lucky I didn't shoot the engine!

"Aurel , you can go deeper"...

Not with the Uni-(Pre)-Filter Aurel is using. You have to remove the snorkel, if you want to install the Uni-Filter.

Greetings

When we installed the MotoHooligan Airbox on Bikyto's Bike we were curious how much fording ability he would lose. After some investigation it looks like you dont lose much at all.

Can someone help, I am looking for a video of someone doing a rolling standing burnout /figure 8 / donut on a 950 or 990, it was in the dirt, and I thought I saw it in this thread recently.

Thanks

Here's a few from one of the newest 990 owners. Lovin' this beastie

This plate used to be on my Ulysses. Seems more appropriate on this bike.
