This is one of the best sources of information for your KTM. Maybe ktmtalk but here is better.

Now that's mud

Looks like your A990 bags kept the mud off the bike and on bars and bags!!!!!!

Hard to believe this was a steep down hill, but looks flat- she laid down for the uphill shot.

So what did you think of the Scout?

Any thoughts vs. the MEFO or 908 or TKC?

I really liked it so far. Did great on both dirt and street. Had a TKC on the back before and while it did good in the dirt, it didn't last that long because I did a trip to Death Valley and had a lot of tarmac. Still have the TKC on the front, but will change that to the Scout when it wears out.

I have talked to a couple of people who love the rear Scout, but hate the front. They now run TKC front and K60 rear.

I hate a front TKC ! gotta keep the pressure way up on these, weak sidewalls that love pinch flats even with 33lbs of air in it. Had 3 pinch flats and one trashed front rim-2 on a Excel 1.8 rim too. I am going to a Michelin Desert front for my next one. Not saying you are wrong, just saying they are not a great front if you want to run under 34 psi in the front.

I run 24psi front off road and have had no issues.

You're lucky. I too have destroyed my front wheel. Even running 34psi.
Never got a pinched flat with a tkc. I have however with the D606, desert and the D908 front.
I now run woody's wheels. They have taken some serious hits and still holding up.
