It does get pretty hot & sticky here in summer, but there are times when the temperature could go upto 40 degrees & the sun is really sharp out here. I do not have any overheating issues, but in summer when the temperature is 35+ the fans kicks in & stay on most of the time (especially in stop & go traffic). I guess your bike you must be equipped with the middle east cooling package for sure which comes as standard to withstand the temperatures out there . |

In Chaiten, south of Chile
This city was flooded by the river after the Chaiten volcano erupted three years ago. While some people still lives there, the view is quite sad. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chait%C3%A9n

These will be my last current pictures for a while, we pack up tomorrow and head back to 8200' and snow
.Today started out on the 450, but 10 miles in blew the front tire then made the wife cry. No I didnt bitch at her- I had her follow me through some stuff that was a little over her head (too steep-too rough). So the day ended early with the thought of no spare tube with us now for 2 front tires. Back home by noon and she says to go ride the 990 ![]() Here are a couple of her (I know its not showing off my 990- YET) doing good here ![]() Not so good here - why dont women like their picture taken when they nap ?![]() Heres the 990 and a couple bonus pics- ![]() ![]() ![]() Sink hole - actually a mine![]() ![]() These guys giving me the stink eye - just cuz I roosted em a little bit, ![]() ![]() ![]() This was freaking steep and that 908 was not performing any magic here. ![]() Thats Mexico in the back ground, Im about 4 miles from the border ![]() The end : for a little while at least. |

yikes, we will be in Pagosa by Wed afternoon , hope it melts. We have 40mph winds here today, made the decision to leave tomorrow afternoon after the winds subside- rather haul 42 feet of trailer in the cool of the night with less wind.

I know, huh? But, you've gotta give him credit... he's done way more than just ride his GSs to Starbucks; and he's put way more miles on his bikes than Ewan ever did... all without a gigantic support team following him around. Hmmm... I'm suddenly in the mood to read Roadshow again Narsisco Lopez screwed with this post 02-27-2012 at 07:22 PM |
