I liked that setup too. I considered it. It's really a shame that TT USA adds a $400 extra on top of what the price is in Europe. Otherwise I would have purchased one.

I ordered the same setup, except the slightly less ridiculously expensive DE/DE dual projector lamp setup. Be interesting to see how it works, but also looking forward to shorter/canted windscreen. Will post some photos when it gets here. Also sent an email to the TT distributor in Quebec to see if the Xenon lamp can be ordered separately to be added to the setup at a later date.

You have to take the exchange rate into account and the Touratech.de store has 19%sales tax included in the price. I did pay a bit less for my Zega bags at the Touratech factory only because they take VAT forms. Soldiers stationed in Germany are exempt from sales tax if the store takes the form that cost 4 bucks a piece on post.

Yes I did. That ends up with a $400 difference.

Keep in mind not only is it very expensive $1,110.00. You have to upgrade to the European headlight as well. $215 for the euro headlight and then the $85.00 switch as well. Over $1,400 with shipping.

But that stock headlight is crap..

The euro switch, yes. But why would you have to buy the euro headlight to then replace it with the TT system?

Not sure but Tourtech's web site says it is not compatable with the the US version and some wiring changes would be needed. But this is an excellent question. Maybe you dont need the headlight.

What reflectors? You don't need reflectors.

The whole headlight (us or euro) comes out. Am I missing something?
