Yes, above it.

I might play motohooky again on Friday.

My first set of each, same configuration. Both seem to be holding up very well after a couple of thousand miles.

BTW, I got to hang out and ride with a friend of yours recently.

Thanks.

The 908s last quite a while - around 8000km or so . I only run the 606 front at the beginning and end of the season while the ground is soft. Once everything dries out, I'll go back to the Kenda K270.

I've got about 800 Kms (not
Miles!!)on my 908 and it's half gone already. Just ordered a mefo hoping it will live a little longer!

Have I mentioned how much I love living in Colorado? [/QUOTE]

Hey Geek. Where in Colorado are you? I'm just north in Calgary AB. Be nice to head down to your stomping grounds sometime and get a tour...?

I'm in the Front Range in north Boulder County.. about an hour from downtown Denver.

Denver is very similar to Calgary in it's relationship to the Rockies.

Let me know if you are coming.. my schedule tends to be pretty hectic but I take full advantage of time when it becomes available and would be happy to go on a tour if the timing works.

Great! That would be awesome. I'll be sure to give LOTS of notice and work around any schedule you have. Thanks! Lemme know if you ever come to the Canadian Rockies, be happy to do the same.

I'll be rolling up that way (hopefully after CJ's Tech Weekend) on the way to do the Dalton Highway. Maybe the first week of August? Haven't firmed up our travel dates yet.

The 908s work better on a narrower rim (I have a 2.5" on mine). Personally, I did not like the way it handled stretched flat across the wide stock rim. The Mefos do last a little longer (burned through three of them now) but don't hook up as well off road, I find.

Thanks!

They are Hepco Becker bars modified to fit around the tanks. Need them for the lights, highway pegs and 990 bags.

Over 8000 feet? Now?!?!

You're killing me. I can't get above 5k on dirt, and a considerable number of roads below that are still snowed out. Valley floor here is 3.3k, so that don't leave much...

Great pix as always!

Same conditions over here in the Sierra Nevada foothills, snow line is up around 5,500 feet with larger patches still on the lower north side. Rain expected all week which may help (or make it worse) depending on the elevation. Anxious for the warmer weather.

That treeline photo was over 10,000! I was surprised when I got up there.. I kept expecting to be turned back on the way by snow.

It'll still be August before we can get up here...
