Some more Black Bear pics as requested...

I'm the guy in the middle... did I mention I'm afraid of heights?

Here's another view of the last step where you turn right.. I was on my Husky that ride.

Higher up on blackbear before the famous steps there is a pretty epic shelf road.. see the bike on the far side of the valley (top right of the photo)?

...and to summarize...

You'd need a tire to get there and back! Ride down on a mefo, put on the 908 you shipped there, ride and swap back for the ride home. I know the ones we ordered that are in our respective garages will be done this fall. I'm throwing on the Mefo this week. Saving the 908 for fall when it gets muddy again! So 3-4 rears per year and looks like 2 fronts. Gonna have to get a second job to buy rubber! It'll be just like college all over again but different kind of rubber! Haha.

Black Bear would be no problem on a Mefo.

The steps are granite... almost like pavement

(I have a MEFO on the rear; tkc on the front in the above blackbear photo)

Yeah but... It's all those loose pieces that look kind of scary to me.

If you ride up it do you have to go back down? Or can one find a good excuse to go another way back.

The steps are strictly one way down only. Once you enter them you cannot turn back. There is a ranger on an atv issuing tickets to violators

Just awesome! One more question, can you clean it or do you have to dab. Might be kind interesting for us inseam challenged riders on big, tall, heavy bikes. Thanks Geek. Sweet photos as usual.
