Thumb Introduced my KTM to its new future....

When I bought this bike a few weeks ago, it was pretty apparent the previous owner didn't have a hankering for things other then pavement...which is pretty much why I bought it!

Yesterday, after a week or so of pulling all the bolts, adding loctite or grease where needed, torquing things to the proper spec, changing fluids, unbolting things I didn't want and bolting down things I did (I think a drill may have been involved, but you'd have to ask BoulderGuy) I finally took her on a 135 mile loop with a solid mix of dirt and introduced her to a new future of adventure!!

Took the wife "camping" for her birthday, stayed in a cool little Yurt, oh and after four weeks of ownership (bought the bike with 0.5miles on her), finally crossed the 4,000 mile mark!

Close, but this is a little farther north, in the Santa Cruz mountains. A camp called Double Bear.

Cool. If you have never been, Treebones is a very cool spot! The yurts have views of the ocean (when it isn't clouded in fog).

I used to live in the SF Bay area for 11 years and it was one of my favorite places around Big Sur.

On the trail to West Yellowstone
Six bikes started this ride, 3 KTMs and three "other" brands, guess which three made it to Yellowstone?

Sure it feels great on tarmac, for commuting this would be great but for just joyriding I prefer to be able to mix in some gravel!
