I'm on my second T63 on my 950. I put close to 5000 miles on that thing before I swapped it. I also run a set of T63's on my DR650 and have probably 2000 miles on those so far. Overall, I'm pretty happy with them, they wear really good and the front doesn't get severely deformed knobs like some other tread designs, so you can ride it way past the point of where you think you should change it.

Most of my difficult riding with these tires has been on my DR650, and the KTM has had some difficult stuff, but mostly gravel and a lot of 2up riding. I can run this tire as hard as I want in the corners and have never felt it give up traction.

This is not a tire you want to use if you are doing a lot of gnarly stuff, but if you do moderate off road, and quite a bit of pavement, I think its tough to beat for around $65!

Hadda T-63. Took it off. Liked it better in the dirt than the TKC80, but it kept trying to kill me on the pavement in the corners. Comparing those two tires, it's clear why both of those thiings were happening-the T-63 has about 30% of the knob area on the edges of the tire that the TKC does.

Back to the thread...

Yesterday, somewhere in Colorado....under a roof...

Not quite showing off the bike as showing a roadside/motel parking lot repair at our night stop in Vernal, UT. My riding buddy double-checking to make sure I bolted up the 990's fuel pump correctly after we removed it and spot-cleaned the tea bag filter just good enough to ride back to Steamboat Springs... where I had a new filter kit waiting for me.

Will never know for sure, but I suspect a bad 5 gallons of gas from the Sinclair station in Maybell, Colorado.

Coming back from Vintage Days last week.

Because I have an SE, I haven't even mounted the 21/18 wheels yet. Probably the reason it stays so clean too

Near my place.
Few more mods done and bits added, scotts, discs, BD bash plate, finally got the suspension all sorted after the debarkle with the SPS springs, trying out an E10 rear tyre. coming together good now.
Might do the HID's next

Absolutely not. The pursuit of a 990 is a worthly life goal. Of course, after you have it, then you have to make new goals...
