Hey Cole... Craig will be out here on his AWD Adventure in a week or so. Looks like he'll be showing up at the Thursday Night ADV Meet Up at Oskar Blues in Lyons on Sept. 20th. Put it on your calendar... maybe he'll let you ride the beast

Awesome!...... But, (There is always a but right), I'm planing on going to the KTM rally in Bend, OR and then maybe doing the Washington back country discovery route around that time!

Ya know, cause, I never really ride my KTM

It's a side car that only has two mounting points and allows the bike to still ride like a motorcycle. Allowing the sidecar to stay level and the motorcycle to still lean.

I'm thinking I can make a skid plate that bolts into the normal spots, and into the centerstand location. Then maybe tie the crash bars up through the gas tank to the frame. This would allow it all to create kind of an external mount system all tied to the frame. Then I just need to drop a couple of mount points off it that connect with pins and Heim joints for the side car. Simple right?

Thanks I have not seen that before.

Getting tired of the looks my best buddy gives me when I head out on the 950. Even strapped a board to the rear rack and rode him up and down the driveway to see what he would do. He hung right in there and didn't jump or fall. Of course I was barely idling along. Since he is just under 80 lbs I was pretty impressed.

Not having to fab the two top mounts would sure make life a lot easier considering all the plastic in the way.

Please keep me posted if you make any progress.

Thanks
Jack
