Heading out tomorrow probably around 9am....Unsure of my plans just yet...May stop at Mortons BMW for the fest or just head for the BRP. I usually end up somewhere around otter creek the first night.

I really enjoy getting a week off work a copuple of times in summer and riding as fast as I can to the mountains and riding around. I miss the Blue Ridge Parkway tremendously. Thanks for the pictures. Taken last summer:

A brisk 29 degrees here in PA this morning. Think I will wait for the sun to warm things up a bit.

I will just post here. Not too many pics today it ws really hazy. Spent last night in the tent at otter creek. Decided to credit card camp tonight in Jefferson as I've been feeling a little under the weather and it was threatening to rain on me...ranger says not supposed to rain until 10 and stop around 6 so hopefully it will be a nice day tomorrow.

Cherokee N.C. Tonight. After the rain stopped this morning I had a little fog on the parkway but not bad. It got nice and sunny an around 60 but around craggy garden it was windy and in the 40s. Leave varied from still green to peek to off the tree.

Doughton park camping last night. Home tonight.
Notes to self.. Its okay to stop even if you just 2.5 hours from home and 12 hours riding is a long day in the saddle.
