BMW C1 Sighting

One my way to work this morning, at Wellington & Yonge St.. It had EU plates.

It was way cool.

I wish I could have snapped some pics, but I was on my scooter next to him!

Cheers,
David

Wow, those things are sweet! I want one, just like every scooter or motor cycle I see!

Very Cool. I suspect in the US a C1 would draw more stares and questions from folks then a Bugatti Veyron.

Not sure I would be up for being the center of attention, but they have a weird appeal to me that's hard to describe.

Cheers,
David

I'm waiting to see one in Santa Barbara. BMW does all their US emission compliance testing out of a port below Oxnard and fleets of blacked out 'future cars' go thru Santa Barbara every morning......taped up/spray painted but it's obvious what they are .... models that will come out in two years. If I see one of these scoot's, I'll chase it down for a pix.....Bruce

There's a couple different Chinese knockoff versions of the C1 for sale in the States. The one's in my town don't draw stares in a positive way. They're old-man-collecting-cans kind of bikes. The college kids ride tons of scooters here and they wouldn't be caught dead on one.
