Charlie we road all of it and had a great time there were a few issue with the tracks but it was easy to come up with a work around. Great ride more later.

I did a mini report. It is not all TART related. I had a good time thanks for laying it out. I will do all of it maybe next year. I would like to do Mexico to Canada across the midwest.

The TART can be started from either Blue Eye, Missouri on the Arkansas/Missouri border or from Eldorado, Arkansas on the Louisiana/Arkansas border. You can read about the "TART" HERE

Hey DRZ Charlie, how long of a day is Day 1? 8 hrs? More? Less?

Day one of the TART is about an 8 or 9 hour day. It depends on the re-routes. Roads are opened and closed seemingly at a blink of an eye. Also keep in mind that Bear season is 11/5 - 11/30, Deer season from 10/13 -10/17 & 11/10 - 12/2 Modern Gun. Parts of the route traverse deer leases.

So DRZCharlie if I ride Day 1 of the TART this Saturday I should wear a orange vest???? Myself and a few others are riding down from Iowa on the big bikes (Tiger 800xc's) to Euerka Springs and then going to do Day 1 of the TART on Saturday, then heading north from Clinton to Rolla MO this weekend. Do you think there will be any issues? And thanks for the route unfortunitly we can't do the whole thing...maybe someday.

I think you might hit some re-routes because of deer season. There are many deer leases on this route. If you are prepared for that eventuality you will be fine. I certainly would wear orange in case anyone decides to "tiger hunt". Are you starting in Blue Eye?

We are going to stay in Eurkea Springs and drive over to Blue Eye to start. But no worries the tiger is orange, which am not sure if thats good or bad. Will the deer leased land just be gated off? or how do you tell?

Usually marked with signage or purple paint. Leases usually have gates but not always.
