Here's a few more pics, from Bret's phone.

Where do you get a permit to ride there? Looks great! I've never heard of it but definitely want to ride it ASAP!

Arkansawyer and DR650Lover are the local boys who can lead the way, assuming they want to. I'm sure they don't know the whole area, though, as it is massive. Xon calls it the "Lost" foundation.

LOL you rode without one? I guess there were no issues? I thought about taking a chance on it today but with my luck I would have gotten caught and thrown in jail!

Xon said that he thought they wouldn't be enforced until summer and that they are really aimed more towards the ATVers, who have apparently done quite a bit of trashing of the area over the years. He said the permits are also used as parking permits, and since we didn't trailer there, they weren't an issue for us there either. I'm still gonna fill one out just in case.

Anyone know how the Buffalo River is near Harriet. Spring Creek Landing is the area I'm interested in. If it's flooded or ???. Hopefully heading that way about Wed or Thursday for the weekend.

With the flooding we've been having it's a safe bet that the Buffalo is raging right now!

I remember about 5 or 6 years back where it had almost destroyed the new facility down there and a fine coat of mud all the way to where the road breaks into the camping area. I just got the number for Crockett's Store at Harriet so I'll call them before I leave so I can make my finale plans on where I'm going up there.
