I know we talked about sunday the 31st. I'm good for then, too. I cant saturday, with us celbrating trick or treat with the kids. There is several places to meet around here. I've been turned on to Lake Winona recently and it is beautiful. wide open dirt roads, and no dust, almost 2 inches of rain past 2 days.

Eating lunch at Parks on 28. Parks has gas. Nothing in between has gas.
Sunday doesn't work for me.

Well, i'm gonna try to make it saturday then. if i have to leave the pack early, then so be it. It's not often we'll have days like this saturday. If anything, it will give me a chance to meet yall. If my Blue DR and my skinny ass isn't there by 9:00, then yall post some pics for me.
Thanks for starting this thread, we needed it!

We could do something Sunday too. I'm sure you could show me stuff in that area and maybe we could get a few others to go also. Just remember, I go out for the sights and to see stuff, not for the ride, the bike is just a fun way to go. :::Off to look at the maps to see an easy way to get to Parks..... :::

I usually settle into a 30-35mph pace on gravel roads. No pressure to ride over your head, I wait every few miles and at every route change.
Parks is on hwy 28. There just isn't any fuel and eats closer to Forester. It's the middle of nowhere.

So, who was the guy who was hiding his R1150GS on the company parking lot in Conway? (Company name omitted due to search engines.)
I left you my business card; and you never called.

He can be fast when the need arises too. We've ridden together before.

I may just stay up here in this area for now until I get a bit more experience. Will say for sure by Friday. I know you all say to not over ride & you are fine with that but the day as planned can not be done at my speeds without riding home in the dark after a 10 - 12 hour day for me & I do not think I should push that hard yet. Thunkin .....

I'm going with Arkansawyer. I think I'm gonna leave my boy at home this time too. Looks like it might be a long day. I'm ready, stopped by Jett's and got some patches and ordered some winter riding pants, and he let me borrow a small air pump too. I will be buying my own pump ASAP. I hate riding and worrying about getting a flat, though I've never gotten one while off-road.
