Nate, if your in the N/E Little Rock area, what about a late breakfast meet for you son to eat, us too, then spore around East of I-40 and North of the military ground? Or meet in Conway and work hwy 9 North & South of Williams junction (jct of 9 + 10), lunch at Jones cafe South of Perryville and get the boy home early? Something like that? DR650Lover, a bit out of the way for you but good 'go home early & fast' roads for when you want to split.... ?? Or? I'm going out to practice some more late this afternoon... Hummm late now...... Oops !!!! gotta go.... ride that is....

I promise everywhere I am going Saturday is passable in a Honda civic without dragging the oil pan. No technical stuff at all.
It's 25-30 miles from 7 to 27. I figure one hour for that, so 10am at Aly. An hour and half to Forester from there, around 11:30. Walking around the old concrete for a half hour gets us to noon. Just a few miles of pavement to Parks for lunch and gas. Gus, if you want to bail and ride pavement home from Parks 28 goes back to Ola.

I'm in fellas. I probably won't be able to make the whole trip, as i have to be back to my house in Hot Springs around lunch. But, i'd love to meet you guys and spin a few miles with ya. You can't ride too fast or too slow, too trechorous or too flat for me. As long as i'm riding. See you guys on the side of hwy 7 at Parks at 9:00. Thanks for the invite.

Y'all need to PM Charlie for the portion of the TART though the Lake Winona area.
From the direction we rode it was passable. I'm not sure about the other way. At least on a DRZ400 and a XR650R with camping gear. |

May need to re-think Forrester or go get a riding lesson from Zecat.
![]() Or do honey-do's. Cept I never have any. Colleen does not do that to me. We have projects but they never interfere with fun. She knows that I'm too old to waste fun days.

Anyone headed for Iron Springs from the LIT area can use fs132 from near Lake Winona to 7. It's clearly labeled "auto route" at every turn. A very pretty road. You'll come out on 7 less than a mile from Iron Springs. Turn left and be ready to turn off in the descending right hander.
I picked up a screw in the hawk gt's rear tire about two weeks ago. Yesterday I picked up a screw in the Triumph's rear tire.
