hahaha now no one can say TMI to me. I'm jealous though, no one is helping me out.

Yea yea. Im flexible. I startedvwith a clean bike and clean title so it wasnt a 1500 dollar build.

Leaving tomorrow for a 8 days in Colorado. Going to ride a little of this and a little of TAT. Have a a 1400 mile loop planned out. Been busy prepping the bike, added some Pelican panniers and a rear rack.

Also replaced the cheap and bad Dennis KIrk turn signals with Some Bike Master LED units, hopefully they are of higher quality.

Big Blocks have been replaced with TKCs.

Also replaced the cheap knock off KLR pegs with some real IMS ones. The bike has proved itself I don't mind spending some money on it now.

JAFO, thanks. Just recently got back form a Colorado ride. Here is the mutant atop Cinnamon Pass. Maybe the first Ninja to cross the pass?

Interesting link. I don't plan on blowing up the tank anytime soon though. The fuel range was a concern on our Colorado trip, but my son was riding our KLR fuel tanker. If I ran out the KLR could have donated some fuel, thing is, that never came close to happening. Farthest we ever went between fill ups was about 90 miles.

I really like a lot of what you've done with the bike.

I'm curious what you think about the R1 shock spring rate with you extended swingarm?
I'm 220lbs & and I will have a 120lb passenger occasionally.
