New seat is going good, it actually makes the bike feel like it has suspension.
![]() It's a tick taller than I wanted, but that helps unfold my knees a little and I can dangle a leg without dragging my foot so fast. The basket weave is a little slippery compared to stock. Sooo glad I had them carve out the front hump on the rear seat. The extra height makes it a little harder to lean over and put my elbows on my legs, but the lack of butt pain more than makes up for any downsides!! |

>>It's just a workshop eye safety shield. Popped it out of the headband piece and drilled two holes in the CBR's windshield corners. Couple of washers, couple of rubber washers and a couple wingnuts. I can put it on and hit the highway in a minute and take it off when I get back.
http://www.cbr250.net/forum/honda-cb...extension.html This guy made a effective windscreen extension and it looked pretty good. The eye shield piece went on the outside of the stock screen at the edges but tucked under just barely at the center. He just needed two holes. |

Did anyone see the new 2013 CBR250R's new color schemes? There is a Repsol Edition!

I checked the site before asking that question and it didn't show the new colors. I see them now I like them all except this one. Looks toyish...like it should be a chinese knock off in pep boys.

New color schemes
78_XL, I saw the Repsol! I wonder what it looks like in person...I'm going to have to meander my way down to the local Powersports and eye-hump it. I hope it's as good in real life, it's about time they get something orange.
I think they did the new red/white/blue scheme just to mimic the 1000RR, which actually looks un-pep boyish (lol 100mpg) and excellent when you get up close and personal. Something about the photos makes the paint look dull or maybe just matte, but the site does say it's pearlized. I'm glad they're keeping just the straight black, that's the one I have and I think it's a classic. |
