Hey, Bill, it was great seeing you in NY, too. Hope we'll be able to ride together sometime this year.

Just a quick update about the AltRider luggage rack for the Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z: it will now be possible not only to mount in the upper position using our bracket, but in a lower position should you desire to remove the pillion seat.
I'll have pictures for you soon... |

Our lead industrial designer, Don, just finished a video about our crash bars for the Super Tenere. In it, he explains our manufacturing process and the way the bars are designed to distribute impact energy, then shows you how they're installed.
Our crash bars for the Super Tenere are available for pre-order. If you're interested in purchasing them, you may want to reserve your set now. -Christina |

Here's the image I promised -- just a rough render to give you an idea how it will mount.
![]() The grab handles will need to be removed, and of course the pillion seat would be removed, but this configuration offers more versatility. We are taking pre-orders for the luggage rack (and our other parts for the Super Tenere)... so if you're thinking of purchasing one, you may want to reserve it now. |

Hi Jeremy,
I think this question has been asked before but I can't remember the answer... does the cubbyhole in the S10 luggage rack hold a Rotopax or similar fuel container? You mention Rotopax on the website "Carrying additional fuel or water is made easier, too, because the rack was also designed with a Rotopax interface." but that sounds like it would sit on top of the rack? For me I'd like the fuel underneath and top box on top. Thanks! Trevor |

Hey, Trevor,
The cubby is perfect for a fuel bladder, but the Rotopax won't fit -- it goes on top. ![]() (This is our luggage rack for the BMW F 800 GS, but all of our racks interface with the Rotopax system in the same way) If you'd prefer the fuel in the cubby, you'll want to find a smaller fuel bottle -- or Google "fuel bladder." There aren't fuel tight bags available. |
