Alright I should have caught up with everyone that asked. I also sent an updated version to everyone that had requested the first time.

I appreciate everyone's collaboration and feedback. Keep it coming

David - just got the clutch fixed on the KTM and had a good long ride Saturday. Can't wait to see the results of your efforts. If you don't mind sending out another peek when you have a chance, please do. Tom

Yes, I'd like to get the preview if possible. If I can work it into my schedule I hope to be in the area late May early June.

Thanks for your effort on this!

Thanks for all the hard work. I'd like to take a look at your map. If I can be any help to you and answer any questions. I know the George Washington Forest around Harrisonburg VA, and Brandywine WV very well.

Thanks!

It's mid-April, the weather is nice and the Forest Service has all the gates on the route open. Also many inmates have let me know they want to get out and ride the route - so I figure it is time to get the route into riders hands .

I would be happy to send any one who PM's me with their email address the full Garmin GDB. The only thing I ask is that you post any scouting or riding you do of the BRT in this thread.

The GDB is large - and I will leave shrinking the tracks to the individual user. You need a Track capable mapping GPS... preferably the newest 62/78 series that supports 100 tracks with 10,000 Points.

I want to stress is that this very much an off road route. I would not want to be on anything larger than 650cc. I also have not proven the entire route on the ground. I have taken the utmost care to only include state roads and open forest roads but until I get to ride the whole route in June there will most likely be some surprises.
Plan Accordingly.

Red: County/ State 2 Lane (20% gravel/dirt) - 353 Miles Total
Orange: Forest Service (85% Two Track, Gravel Dirt, 10% Rougher Jeep Roads, 5% Single Track) - 363 Miles Total
Green: Connectors to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive - 110 Miles Total
Blue: BRP and Skyline Drive (100% Paved and silly scenic) - 311 Miles Total
Yellow: Scenic Detour / Bypass (50% Gravel / 50% Paved - State Roads) - 150 Miles Total
: National Forest Campgrounds (Primitive and Developed) : Gas Stations

Total Mileage: 1285 Mile
