Can't wait to get mine. If you wouldn't mind explaining how to get the necessary panels off, I would be most appreciative. Thx.

I have a Tiger 1050. I have to use allen keys to remove the cowl and sides of the blinker housings to get to the electical connections behind the instrument cluster on my bike. Its a pain in the ass because there is a lot to it.

I bought an aux light bar made by sw-motech from twisted throttle for these lights. The bar just came tonight. It's hard to tell but I think it is going to be very tight trying to get these lights to fit and not hit the body work.
I'm crossing my fingers.

When I did the install on my FJR it was a tight fit as well...just barely made it.

Tight fit but well worth it.

If you're referring to Krista, and if the side Allen head mounting bolts are an issue being too close to the bodywork, we have low-profile stainless button head screws for this purpose.

I think it could be more of a length issue with the lights being 4.3" and how the body work goes out at a near 90 degree angle. Well, I'll find out today.

And RocketMoto...that's nice of you to offer with tech support for those doing self-installs.

To everyone else...thanks again for making this Group Buy a success. Be sure to post up some pictures when they arrive and you have them installed.
Sure thing. We **LOVE** the Clearwater product, and we couldn't ask for a better company to work with, so we're delighted to assist.

Last night, after finishing up a Traxxion suspension job on a Gold Wing for a customer, and before the snow flies, here, I took his bike out for a thorough twisty road test ride (temperature was a balmy 15* F). His bike has PIAA 910's. Compared to the Krista's, the PIAA's are truly pathetic.

Sorry...you lost me when you said 15 degrees.

Living in Florida for 30 years has greatly reduced my tolerance for cold weather compared to when I lived in New Jersey. Brrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

Thanks again for offering to assist.

Were you able to get that straightened out? If not, let me know and I'll get in touch with Clearwater.

I was just wondering how the process works. I paid for my Krista's Dec. 2, but I haven't heard anything about when they might ship. Did others get some sort of notification?

Same here- I called Clearwater earlier in the week and they said shipping late this week or early next (Glendas for me.)

Who knows - maybe they've offed to Mex with the loot for boat drinks.

Call Clearwater and ask for an estimate. I do know that when they have surges in orders it can sometimes delay shipping a little bit. It happened when I had ordered my Krista lights right after a BMW rally where they sold a pile of them and got behind somewhat.

Let me know what you find out.
