Hi MotorOlly,
I must have missed it. Would you care pointing where the map you mentioned is located? Thank you.

Yeah, I'd like to see that too. If it ever quits snowing here I have some plans to start messing with this again; I've been so pleased with the running charactersitics of the power-tripp map I'm running now I knida let it go last year.

It's sure fun to play with, and so much easier than carbs!

Thanks, I get about 42mpg out of mine. I'm curious to compare them. Thanks again for sharing. Did you get to lean it out more?

It's a map for a 07-08. Wasn't the power-Tripp map for an 09? I did you have a custom map made by him?
Thanks!

To clarify....

I ride a 2010 and am currently running one of the power-tripp maps; I don't remember which one I ended up with and this is the wrong computer for figuring it out.

I know the mythical "50 mpg map" is for an earlier bike but I'd still like to see it....At some point if I ever get some time I want to sit down for a weekend with the two big monitors on my photoshop machine and do some pre- and post-09 map comparisions, just for grins. If we could establish some consistent differences, maybe we could come up with a set of "correction factors" to run the later maps on the earlier bikes using cut and paste.

It's probably silly and a waste of time, but this is fascinating stuff and I think it might be a worthwhile exercise.

Yes you could copy and paste the F/L maps. That would keep the maps functioning. Ignition is different of course.

In terms of on/off and hunting, the mods that made the most of a difference was the 2nd butterflies. That map can be tweaked a lot.

Ya, I'd like to see the f1/f2 and l1/l2 maps on the 50mpg map.
Can we see it ;) J. Are you listening :)

Sorted ( I think )

Today I pasted in the fueling from an 09 map into the standard 07 and loaded it up done the 15min idle and bob's you uncle, running smooth and no hesitating. I'll continue to monitor the transformation but it looks like i'm ready for a run off road again.

Not silly at all...
When i did some comparisons this winter what i saw was that the biggest change was the ignition timing. The stock timing looks to retard at the lower mid range. If you have that table up in TuneECU just hit F5 and it toggles to the graph. Also use F6 to toggles between maps.
I compared the fuel tables to my stock 07 and the Arko and the 50-50 Arko and saw that the fuel values on Tripps maps were less than the 50-50 in most areas. I am going from what i remember which can be dangerous, i need to look this over again also.

Just tried version 2.2 on the new Windows 8 preview. When I download IE warns me that this is not a commonly downloaded file but gives me the option to download anyway. After doing just that, the app starts without any problems on Windows 8.

Are you guys referring to me? I posted last fall (like 7 months ago!) that I touched 50mpg. Had more to do with speed than fueling though.

I was referring to another tuner who does get 50+ on an everyday basis as i understand it. Maybe we'll get to see his map
