More pics and info on A&R bright and early this morning
http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bike...a-crossrunner/ then there's the off-roady looking version (beasts I know, but it really looks like a road bike with off-road styling to me - note the sticky tires etc). http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bike...ourer-concept/ I like this version

I had to give it a second look, I thought I was looking at an R1200GS Adv.
Incidentally, if its the same V4 as in the VFR1200, expect K1300S levels of zoomy zip. |

While it probably won't take up a spot in my garage, it's nice to see Honda finally come out with an option at least.
Let's hope they bring it to the US. |

I had a '94 VFR an loved it. My thought is that perhaps they have a LOT of the V-4 motors available and have to get their money out of the engineering (are new VFR's selling that well? I have yet to see one on the road and the same two have been at the dealer here for months). It's just not the motor I'd expect for this type of bike. I'm sure Honda has a plan to get some torque down low in the V-4 for a bike intended to be ridden on gravel (??) some of the time. Otherwise, it should be awesome on the road. A little too much plastic for me, but looks nice overall!
Get ready, though, someone is bound to try to do a comparo with their XR S-Ten |
