Two Plugs, Have to disagree. I can't see any novelty neither in the Explorer nor in the LC GS.
Or do you count cruise, +400 cc or liquid cooling 'novelty'?

+1, the Tiger 1200 looks like a great bike, but there's nothing "ground-breaking" about it.

Honda wanted to make a ST. They made this bike under duress.

Saw two XTourers last weekend on a weekly bikers meeting. They bellong to some dealer, I think.

It's really small and slim in person. Very different from S10s, GSs, etc in style and proportions. It's good in a way that Honda is not trying to get in any style "club" or anything. In other way, it seems by far to be more roadie than it's direct competition. To each it's own, I guess. But I'll not judge a book by it's cover (nor it's spec sheet).

Overall looks like a well put together bike, screams Honda quality by every pore and has a sweet engine sound

Can't wait to see it in person, sounds like it'll be a great all-rounder.

Tourenfahrer magazine had Xtourer in a touring test.
They seem to like it.
Tank range 220-225 miles.
Very stabil at top speed, also with OEM top box & panniers.

Well, I finally got to sit on the 1200 V4 CT today at the Tokyo Bike Show.

I thought they were supposed to be big?

Mr. Dust, it's due to all those chemicals they put in beer nowadays.
