These are my figures. Early days on the CT. But my feeling is its more efficient, especially in light of the fact that it has way more power and 200cc more.

So far I've done about 1300 k's on my manual CT mainly in a city environment and been getting something around 6.5 l / 100 k. Mix circuit with a few k's to feel the power of the V4.

Awesome looks, with a very powerfull engine and a very confortable riding position and feel. I've changed the screen for the bigger version and I advise you all to do the same. The front suspension feels a litle bit slugish when it comes to rough surfaces, but nothing that puts me off the overall good experience.

What I think the boys at Honda camp didn't do good is the absence of a switch for the ABS. Looking forward for the trip I'll be doig next June, from Portugal to Southern France and Italy, where I'll be able to explore it in full days riding.

Cheers

Congratulations Xtourer,
post up some pictures when you have the time. I have a test ride lined up in the next couple of weeks, looking forward to it.

Just heard from my Honda dealer that the CrossTourer will not be coming to Canada, just the NC700X and R.

Honda Canada blundered when they imported the Varadero and then restricted its sale to only Honda Powerhouse dealers. With only 27 powerhouse dealers across Canada, they wanted to sell a 1000 bikes a year, but would not permit the regular Honda dealers to sell them.. It didn't work, they got stung and now they won't chance it on the Cross Tourer.

With 80% of small businesses failing within five years, I would say the problem is pretty universal but it's still a pisser whichever way it goes. I think everyone is just a bit scared right now.

But those NC700X things sure are economical

That would be the first thing I would buy from the Honda shells... the touringscreen!

The original on the bike I have ridden, was way to small. Or... I'm simply to tall! ;)

This years VIM (Varadero International Meeting) in Tarragona, (near Barcelona) will host the first participants on the Crosstourer.

@ Xtourer, maybe you are setting of just a week to late to join? We are meeting at Whitsun weekend (last weekend of May). More info's on the Forum below.

6,5 litres in City environment is not bad...

Did I miss something? They aren't coming to the US, are they?

I got a little exciting too thinking it may be in the US. Then I googled WA and found out it wasn't Washington, but Western Australia.
I think I'm back to searching Super Tenere and BMW 1200GS. Its so quiet from Honda I am believing its not coming here.
