Really easy if the weather is on your side, trip of a lifetime. Lots of places for fuel. Fort St John to Fort Nelson would be about the longest leg that you'd have to worry about.

The story behind this helo is that it belonged to the dipshit saddam himself. It had been shipped back to Russia for repairs and updates right before the Gulf War broke out. Somehow it ended up on the black market in Russia and my friend bought it for $90,000 USD shipped it to Venezuela and put it to work with Mobile Oil.

I got to fly both the Mi17 and Mi26 back in '92 and '93. Very cool. I'll try to get some of those shots scanned too.
