I just peek in this thread now and again, and I'm sure this is 205, but today my daughter and I went to the MCAS Miramar Air show. We were both airshow first timers. Just the previous evening we were watching Nitro Circus and saw a segment with Chuck Aaron doing some wild things I didn't know possible. Lo and behold, he and his chopper were there today, and we got to see him live
It was breathtaking to watch.

I usually get that way when I'm at the end of my tour and just want to go the hell home.

Hey Brad, off to Kelowna this week to test fly the IFR bird with quite possibly the most stale IFR skills in the world. Good thing the wx is calling for severe clear.

I'll take pictures of Gordie and me doing the full procedure at YLW, it's going to be a hoot.

Yeah, Gordie told me you were coming out. Wish I could join you.

And correction: Those would be the 'second' most stale IFR skills in the world. My gyros start to topple these days if the wipers come on while I'm driving.

PS - I was going to agree with Brad and tell you to lighten up but I'm glad you take good care of those ancient crates.

PPS - Brad, had a ride in a S-92 last week
