That's basically what I was reading into it. Goodness, some days I actively want to be a pilot... And other days I'm not so sure....

Wasn't it summer just yesterday?

Must be part of your super-secret double-naught spy work with your low-level FEMA clearance and (snicker) Texas Security License, yes?

I just put my visor down so they can't see me cry.

Wierdo, will you be doing any flying at the Olympics site? I hear they are short of snow on the ski hills and are hauling some in with helicopters.

Watching one of these guys work is what made me sign up and get my private fixed wing license, my plan was to then go for my Heli license but the cost is just too high. Oh well, just happy to get up in the air once in a while. Anyone build one of those rotorway kits or am I just asking to kill myself?

Beware of city restrictions, no undo hazard (this is up to interpretation so I would check with the local FSDO), and of course property owners permission. Did I miss anything?

I don't know? Did you? I think you're right, from what I've heard in the past, but didn't know what's changed. I could always ask my flight school for area regs, past experience, etc.

A friend of mine drives the crane and apparently is going to be slinging snow up onto Cypress tomorrow. That is going to be some spendy snow!

I'll be heading back up to the ski lodge on Friday. Getting out of Dodge before it gets too crazy.

Tim Horton's should be a hint that there will be no FSDO to check with, that and Onterrable as a location.

City restrictions would be a good start. Permission is another. Lastly not breaking any of the CARS (low flight over built up areas)

Never heard of Tim Horton's, didn't look where he was from, but he asked about the FAR's so that threw me. Why would a canookie ask about FAR's.

What do you call America's largest national park? Canada.
