On my Versys in WV (north to south)

Allegheny Highlands of northern West Virginia along a sinuous track to southern border with Virginia on my Versys. Slideshow/video set to a soundtrack of Memphis and Chicago blues. May ye always find your nose in the wind.

Nice thread. You all have talked me into spending some time in WV this year. I can make it to Beckley in 4 hrs from Chapel Hill, NC. Sounds like a good weekend jaunt. Probably will have to stay on the southern part for time reasons. Can't go on some of the roads that you all ride on, but look forward to finding some nice paved adventures.

On my Versys in WV redux (south east mountains)

Riding my Versys closer to home in the SE West Virginia mountains. Slideshow/video and soundtrack with the Delta Blues courtesy of Mr. John Lee Hooker backed by Mr. Johnny Winter on lead guitar. Likely not as popular with the masses but definitely grittier and worth another ride just to hear the tunes IMO.

Thanks to some beautiful weather over the last week I've been able to spend some good time on the tiger

been commuting off and on all winter but not had time to really get out there! Let's pray spring holds for a while

Haha in the fall this was a well graded road capable of 40-50mph in some spots But still fun!!!

old homestead nearby my place, there is an old pig-sty, outhouse and barn, great place for a quick break when riding local

Spring Tonic

Boppin on Sherwood and WVs Greenbrier Valley. 200 miles of byways and backways along the VA/WV state line and then touring the Greenbrier Valley. After Locust Creek, I beared west by southwest with a dogged determination due to an ever darkening sky and more frequent sky tears.

Aaaahhhhhhh!

I can't help myself...another Versys run

Fiddlin' 'Round Fayette slideshow

Up and out early on a 150 mile byway and backway loop chock full o' twisties and a little local history. Sewell Mtn, New River Gorge, Kaymoor, Cunard, Batoff Mtn, Prince, Backus Mtn and home. It was 50* and I was south of New River when the drizzle set in. With sails at full billow and runnin' like sh&t thru a tin horn, me 'n Lil' Red made for home. The road begin to get saturated about 10 miles out from the barn. I all but escaped the now monsoon. One bitchin' good ride today.
