I am glad to here, I might have to get a new 14 and add LSL bar kit. My 12r was a wheelie machine after the bar addition. Too easy to loft front end with wide flat bars. Best wishes to you. D.

Only problem is slow tight turns like parking or having to turn sharply at very slow speeds. If you turn too sharply, the front brake lever can hit the windscreen and apply the brakes. Just pay close attention to this and otherwise, no problem

It'd take me a few wrecks to figure that out. Thanks for the tip.

I sold my '08 last summer, and apparently the numb-nuts that bought it never swapped the registration into his name. I received a letter a couple of days ago from the local PD's Auto Theft Unit that it had been recovered stolen, and was at the impound lot.

So naturally I had to go see what it looked like...

It wasn't pretty, like visiting an ex-girlfriend at the county jail that you broke up with last year, and seeing how far down into gutter she's slid.

Before, in sport-touring mode...

After, in whatever mode...

They covered the beautiful Midnight Metallic Sapphire with cheap, poorly applied speckle-black paint.

Not mine anymore...I signed the title over to his finance company last summer when they cut me the check. I'm just the last registered owner showing when the tag is run on NCIC (tag expired Feb. '14).

That's one reason I hate selling bikes. Years of care, thrashed in sometimes months.

Had mine out yesterday, first ride of the year. Missed it. My butt still hurts.

As the OP I just sold my 2006 last Saturday. I took it for one last ride a couple of weeks ago. Behaved myself for most of the 168 miles. No wheelies. Kept it under 90 MPH. Then about 2 miles from home, I decided to crack it at the crest of a hill, at about 30 mph. No wheelie, just a nice long black mark on the pavement. New owner lost about 200 miles on the life of the rear tire. Too bad , so sad. I miss it already.

Agreed, man do I miss mine.

Very seriously considering a leftover white '13. And then dealer isn't helping by offering it up at a killer deal.

If I do the deal, I think it'll earn a place next to my FXR on the "I'm never selling this" list.

I've but the kit on my 954rr. You can always buy a different bend on the bars to ensure you have sufficient clearance, etc.

Just for fun I got a 2014 insurance quote.

$191 a month from the same company that charges me $8 a month for my 919. Progresive

How much are you guys paying for full coverage?

Try State Farm. I have bundled all my stuff, and full coverage on my ZX is about $17/mo
