Here it is, my 2008 with 1670 (really) miles on it. It is quite a change from the Buell.
At least the seat on my Buell holds my ass, This bike wants to slide out from under me.

A Concours seat and bar risers make a pretty big difference. The seat is a bit hard to find, they don't come up for sale very often. I got mine on E-bay for $120 I think. You pretty much have to add the risers, the seat raises you up about an inch, and the risers put the bars back up to compensate. Before the seat I was hurting after a few hundred miles, now I'm good for as long as I want to hold on. I want a little bit taller windshield now, it gets annoying on long days.

I just Sid the risers, and bought stock exhaust so I don't have to listen to the race pipe scream. Next is a tail bag, and I'm waiting on the dealer to straighten out the title.

My 2010. Original pic back at post #61. Now has pipes, a luggage rack, radiator guard, hugger and bar risers fitted.

My buddy's brand new 2012 model - in Australia all the 2012 models have ABS standard.

Very carefully.

I've only been pulled over once on mine, something like 57 or 59 in a 45. I had stock exhaust, wearing full gear, and soft luggage strapped on. The guy seemed surprised when he saw what I was riding and what I was doing with it, b/s'd for a bit and he let me go.

My 2006 has been set up for drag racing the last 3 years so I decided to return it to street use. Just installed fresh Power Pure tires, went back to 17/43 vs 16/45 gearing. Raised the bike back up 1.5" and reduced the wheelbase from 9" to 5" over. Installed a Zero Gravity touring screen, installed my Corbin seat, and 1"bar risers. The bike is 200 hp on motor and 250 on juice. I going on a 3 day trip next weekend and my KTM has left stranded 3 times this year with electrical issues so going back greeen for this trip. Was looking at a new ZX-14R and did a test ride and liked my 2006 better. My is 515 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas and feels much lighter than the 2012.

My wife snapped some pics of my '12 14.. which I'm actually trying to sell. The exhaust cans have grown on me, or maybe I just don't notice them any more. No tickets so far, but it is definitely not easy to keep the speed down.

OOPS! Missed a water spot!

My 2006 had the motor pulled and freshened up at 6000 miles by Old School Racing in Logansport, IN.
Shannon Clem runs the shop with his father and has been building Kawasaki's for years. PH 317 523-4049.
My motor has J & E 13 to 1 pistons with stock bore, race valve job and head porting and valve springs. Removed the 2 balancer shafts, reworked oil pump, low clearance oil pan. After the motor work I had Ryan Schnitz build the motor only and nitrous maps. I have a BMC air filter and a Brock's 4 into 1 system with a street meg. If you need motor work, check out OSR. They offer great work at a very good value and they are building some very fast motors!
