Well, that's part of the reason for the slow progress on this......

Some parts were made in more than one version at different times. Trying to give you guys the meat and potatoes of the story has had me looking through folders for pics w/ the original photo date info.

I spent countless hours reading old articles and test reports on Christini's AWD system.

Being a mechanically minded person, I liked how his system worked and the fact I could see the parts. Yes, there is alot of stuff going on, but it all has a purpose.

One of my good high school friends works at a local tool and die shop. I stopped in to say hi a few years ago and see this on the shop floor.

I've been in a few CNC shops over the years, but you don't run into cool stuff like this everyday. We get to talking about it and they actually helped produce parts for these bikes.

Up until now, I've only ever seen these in magazines.

So after a few pics...

I tried to get a time set up for a test ride.

A few weeks later....

It was so much fun. I'm not a fast rider, but I could tell it was helping me out and made riding so much more fun. Isn't that what it's all about?

W/ my current bike???.. It's hibernating over the winter, resting up for the next list of mods. I put it through a lot last year.

We're heading south to test more in April.

The trails are great fun, we're lucky to have enough family land by us that I can get out and test projects there. (My secret TEST facility) I've been riding these trails for over 20 yrs now. I started to build them when I was very young w/ my go-kart. Back then I had to keep an eye out for the cows that were in pasture.

hi craig!! i guess you have to watch out for those animals in the trails or else you hit a tree!!!! allright keep up the magical project it is by far the most interesting thing to happen to a motorcycle since the christini awd!!! cheers!

Well.... there wasn't a 950 AWD bike on display.
