Bring'em on Teach! . I was planning on turning my panhead into a RTWDoug special but doubt it will be ready for the class in December. Right now a regular right hand turn drags the pipes.

Help! Ive fallen and I cant get up!!!

For any body comming from Ft Worth or points north, I live about 20 miles due east of Hillsboro. I need somebody to pick up my scoot. I have tie downs etc. I will pay a $50.00 bill for transportation to and from the venue. I would like to get there about 9:00 on Sat. and leave Sun.after a nice ride; about 4 Hours? BTW I will be driving my own car so I can be free to go dancing or honky tonking Sat night.

Just sayin'.......

You prolly don't have too many 600+ mile days on your knobby bike like I don't have too many dirt miles on my Ultra.

Will a KLR suffice? With D606's?

(OT: Impressive, Cody. I did 500+ last year at my more than ample size on stock seat 06 KLR on Kenda 270's. From Tombstone up to Alpine, over to Reserve, a couple hours in the mountains, then (when I thought my day was done) down to freaking Deming WFO to meet up with a buddy. That seat had to be surgically removed from my ass. But I couldn't do 386 on a 525. I don't know if I ever could have.)

If I'm in town, I'll sneak over to Crooked Creek and see what's going on. Could be very interesting. ;)

Good one slow! I did a fly-in drive-out purchase of my 05' KLR last Dec from Columbia, SC to DFW. Woulda done it straight through for a bunburnner plate frame (I thought it'd be funny on a KLR) cept it got down to around 36f and started raining so hard I couldn't keep my visor clear around 11pm in Merridian, MS so I called it a night. Had new kinda 270's on that thing. They were pretty loosiegoosie in the rain. Really got interesting the next night (decided to head up to Arkansas and take back roads) after dark when the rear tube blew out doing 55 on a narrow bridge with oncoming traffic. Got to play flat track racer on that. First tube I'd changed on the roadside in 20 years or so. Talk about an adventure Put about 9000 miles on it this year with a couple trips up to AR to have fun (Hillbilly DS Ride and SLAP).

WTF was I thinking when I quit riding dirt 25 years ago??? This shit is some good fun!

So do they charge for camping? HEY, I own a KLR!

Might be fun

I rode bitch at the last off-road clinic. Had some really cryptic name, like FLHR+FN-FAL=FUN or something like that. Try that on a Kwhatever.
