Yea, but still a really good guy. I went to school with him in Knoxville. He had his opinions and wasn't shy about stating them. He wasn't so much a bigot as seriously lacking in PC speak, and his feelings about gays wasn't homophobia, but a religious belief that the lifestyle was wrong. But he treated everyone well, regardless of their faith, color, creed, or lifestyle. I wish the rest of us could say the same

Reggie White was a good guy, on and off the field. A class act, a real man, somebody who could be looked up to by kids and adults alike.
Forty-three is too young to die.

Like so many things in the Politically Correct world in which we now live, it was misunderstood and blown completely out of proportion.

Saw him play in the '83 Ole Miss-Tennessee game on the hill. Also saw him play for the old Memphis Showboats. Class act all around.

We lost a good one in Reggie, he helped turn the Packer's into a Dynasty(again). He was a champ on and off the field.

The Club

Reggie would over tape his right arm to add a bit of weight to it. He called it "the club." As he came up out of his 3 point he would swing the club into the left earhole of the opposing offensive lineman and then beeline to the QB.

He was still a gentleman on the field as he often helped arm-up all the human debris he left in his fearsome wake.

I often watched Eagles and GB games just to see him play.

Chatt. Boy!

Yes, Reggie was a Cool Guy! He's a Home Town Boy from here in Chattanooga. He was a year behind me in High School as he played for Howard High. We followed him Big Time after he went to TN and wore the "Orange"! He was a Super Guy to the kids in Chatt. He would have a Football Clinic for youngsters in the area. He was always giving back to this area! We will miss the "Minister of Defence"

Boojum!

Wonder how long it will be before someone in the media suggests his death was sterioid related?
