Maps. This program is already on the iPhone. Just click the edge of the map and choose "show traffic".

I believe you just need a 3G data connection, not WiFI for road condition updates.

I remember there was an app that a fellow geekorcyclist wrote that made the volume of the phone raise and lower according to the speed you were traveling. It pulled data from the phone gps i think...

Does anyone know the app?

oh, and I pulled the trigger on a RAM finger grip mount (I have Otterbox Defender case wrapped around an IPhone 4) and got an all-weather USB plug to mount in the dash of my KLR. Should be here next week!

for the Pandora users, which stations do you like to put on while riding. I basically like to stick to 1 or 2 & just let it go for the whole ride. The last thing i want to do is fiddle around with the phone on a ride.

So far, my Favorite is Foreigner Radio. Just a great mix of mostly 80's music. I also enjoy Stevie Ray Vaugn Radio & Van Halen Radio. I dont choose it by genre, but by artist. Ive had it for years now, so I think its pretty well tweaked with my likes & dislikes.

Curious to see what stations you love........

I like Warrant radio and the 80's pre built station the best.

Ok
I got something new. I am not sure it falls exactly in the motorcycle category. But it will be helpful never the less.
I order lots if stuff online between my work and my toys. I almost always have something on the way.

Over the years I have used many programs to track packages. Some better then ever. But most were flat graphics wise.
Where's my package app is looking good. And working good too.

Call me crazy. I like maps. I like seeing where my stuff is. Click on your package and this comes up.

It's pretty easy. Looks good and works with fedex, upsp and ups. Simple add a tracking number and name and that's it.

Oh yeah. Most important. It's free!!!

Saw the notes about Trackr on here, figured I'd go download it for the iPhone and try it out. Going to the developer's website, it appears that he has passed away recently. Since all tracks are saved to the developer's site and server, this may not exist much longer. Apparently others have reported lack of communication from the developer or his team for the past 2 years, which leads me to believe this will probably fade away.

Any other good tracking apps out there for the iPhone? I've found a few that shows where the iPhone is, but nothing that captures and saves routes as they are ridden.

Try motionX gps. It works well but will drain your battery in about 3 hours.
