$695 though!
MrBracket, the manufacturer, posted that back a few pages. Interesting.

Sounds good to me. I have a very rare, 4 stroke 570...will part with it for $15k.

What, too early to see them appreciate in value? Was just checking....

Its still a contender, and I expect it to have long-term engine durability, but until more time has passed and long distance rides reported, we just can't know yet.

Thanks for the confirmation and rationale Crank.

So, what does everyone think, will this raise '11 prices or lower them?

Oh, but that 2012 yellow frame is soooooooooooo nice!

So what, we skip a year model or will we alwys be 1 year behind the Euros?

Raise I hope since I've got 2.

How could it possibly raise their price if the dealers have so many in stock unsold?

Honda did the same here in Oz and ended up selling at reduced prices and with a lot of bling bits thrown in to get them sold, it dropped second hand prices of CRFs a fair bit.

The 950 se went up in value because the bike went out of production.

Powder coating is cheap and my 2010 needs to be framed anyways, to clean all the dirt and crap Usually the good clean happens over the winter but I ride all year round, so it's tough

@KTM959SE Price goes up if demand goes up and if the warehouse has plenty of bikes, I don't see the prices going anywhere honestly. Maybe on the 390 since it's a better all around bike. I had a 570 and, I think the 390 is more fun. I've ridden mine on the MX track, Harescramble, DS rides, on the Ice, snow trail riding, around town to the store and even single track banging and it eats it all up.

My prediction anyway

Nice bikes, all of them but I really like my 390, it does the job without all the drama

What I want to know about those is how do you pick the bike up in deep mountain powder like conditions? I mean do you have to pack snow shoes or what?

Now THAT's where you need the 570, with all of Tahoeacrs' mods!

Never can have too much power for the sand and snow.

taillight wiring

I am installing lights on a 09 450 that didn't come with any and don't have another bike to look at. Can anyone tell me how the tailight wires are routed and where the plug is? Do the wires go through the subframe, under or around?

thanks!

On the 2011 570 (street legal) the wires route along a channel in the subfender and the up through holes on subframe or subframe tank in my case that are behind the ECM then under the ECM. Plugs are beneath the battery/fuse holder.

Might not help you with a 2009. But the online parts diagrams should show?
