Baja Designs Squadron LED light..KTM kit.. goes right in with very little effort. Hardest part was getting the freaking rubber straps off to put the extenders on. 3600 lumens, high and low beam... super bright, aluminum.. made in the USA. A little pricey, but makes night riding a real possibility. Please excuse the dirty bike and the dead bug.. or bird poop..whichever it is

Extenders? Got a pic? Tell me more.

When I read that, I assumed that you mean some doodad or thingumyjig that allows the headlight mask to sit an inch or two further forward? Am I correct? Does it only move the top or does it move the mounting pins at the bottom too?

Yeah.. you just pull the rubber straps from the original holes, mount the hard plastic extenders that come with the kit and that keeps the light away from the wire bundle.. also gives room for the needed dimmer switch if you want to keep high/low beam capability. The extender only pushes out the top of the headlight mask, you keep the bottom tabs in the same place. This thing is SUPER bright, 3600 lumens advertised, and I dont doubt it.. it lit up my entire block.

sorry no pic but it is really simple.

dumb question guys but is there a mod you can do to have lights available when the engine isnt running? am thinking of the scenario where if you if you run out of fuel or the bike cuts out and its dark some lights would a usefull thing?

UK is probably like Australia, we don't have ignition keys, just a start button to push.

yup correct, i've had an ignition switch put on at the dealers but it doesnt affect the lights only the ability to start the bike, but if the us bikes can do it there must be a way to set up the uk bikes to do that as well

ok took the rim locks out and rode with 22/29, 18/20 and 15/15 tyre pressures front /rear and all is good in my world looks like motion pro rim locks here i come

No, they have an Anti pollution type canister mounted in there on US bikes.

It is a good size compartment where they have the evap canister, some airpump looking thing, etc. The Husaberg toolbag fits in, with about 60% space left(by volume).

Our bikes do not have it Paul. Put tools in a tank bag.
