Just a quick ride around the backyard, it's still snowing like hell up here. Throttle response felt a little crisper, especially off idle. It's as quiet as the stocker and USFS approved.

the screen that fits in the end of the exhaust is a noise defuser. they also come stock on the KTM EXC and XCW's, they do commonly come out and GDR removed mine before delivery (put it in the manual bag for me). it's just intended to break up the sound at exit making the bike sound quieter particularly from a distance. have someone ride your bike a 100 yards away from you and back with and without the noise defuser it makes a noticeable difference i think.

Giant Loop?
How did you mount your Giant Loop? Also how happy are you with the MoJavi, the guys i've talked to all seem to like it.
i think that's the route i'm gonna go instead of a larger tank or the subframe tank. it'll be cheaper and more versatile as i can move it to my KTM Adv for day trips and not have to mount my saddle bags. around NC you only need a 100-120 mile range, i should only need to carry 1 fuel bottle and can use the other 2 compartments for the rest of my stuff.

![]() With doing the whole series this past year, I have a bunch of pics of mine on the courses. This on is one of my favorites, though: ![]() TW, what bike did you sell? A better question might be - how many have you acquired and sold since we last spoke? ![]() Didn't know your 'berg was on the block, but glad you're able to keep it. |

HD sold tuesday.
![]() There is another bike coming, so that's why I was considering selling the Berg. You know me and the Rally bug. Will be pulling the Rekluse even if I keep it. My other bike won't have 1 and I think it'll be too tough going back and forth. Anybody need a Rekluse Z Start Pro for their Berg...got about 13 hours on it?

Thanks TW! You know I like to hear the HD sold instead of the FE450!
That is my NCHSA number for the last few years, I carried it over from running it on my RM250, then on the FE in 2009. Yeah, NB, I don't think we crossed paths this past year, but I only hit a handful of NC races. Probably go to a few more this year and stay a little closer to home. |
